Hood Warfare is a free browser FPS in the honourable krunker.io lineage: click Play, and inside ten seconds you’re in a capture-point firefight between two crews of brick-built characters. No install, no launcher, no forty-gig download — the whole pitch is that the time between “bored” and “shooting” is one page load.
Browser shooters are the arcade cabinets of this era: nobody confuses them with Counter-Strike, and nobody cares, because they live in the slice of the day Counter-Strike can’t fit. The genre’s quality bar is simple — tight netcode, readable maps, matches short enough for a lunch break — and its business model is skins and patience.
What it costs
Free. Skins exist, as they must; nothing we saw gates the actual shooting.
What we can’t tell you
Player population at your hours — the life-or-death stat for any multiplayer game, and the one no homepage admits. A browser FPS with empty lobbies is a walking simulator. The check costs nothing: open it at the time you’d actually play and see how fast a match fills. Ten seconds to find out is the genre’s own best feature.
