About AppMole

AppMole is a small independent operation, not a media company. There is no “team of passionate experts”. There is a test bench, a metered API bill, and a low tolerance for marketing pages.

How the testing works

The reviews and comparisons here are grounded in metered production spend — real invoices from running these models and platforms on actual work, currently around $180 of logged generation across Seedance, Kling, MiniMax and the platforms that resell them. When we publish a cost per second, it came off a bill, not a pricing page. When we publish a defect — malformed hands, a background character who vanishes mid-clip — we logged it in production, with the workaround we actually use.

When we have not used something, the page says so, plainly. A listing that says “we can’t tell you whether it works” is us keeping the site trustworthy for the pages where we can.

Who is Nikita?

Nikita is AppMole’s editorial byline and the host of our videos. She is a persona — the presenter is AI-made, which for a publication about AI tools we consider a feature: the testing behind her is human, the invoices are real, and unlike a stock-photo “editorial team”, nobody is pretending otherwise.

How the money works

Some outbound links are affiliate links: if you buy through them, AppMole earns a commission at no extra cost to you. Three house rules keep that honest:

1. Placement is not for sale. Directory listings are free, and no payment moves a tool up a page or into a verdict. “Featured” means we chose to feature it, nothing else.

2. Disclosure sits next to the link, on the page, every time — not buried here.

3. The recommendation comes first. Plenty of our pages conclude that the cheapest route is one we earn nothing from; the cost comparison says so in its own disclosure. If a recommendation and a commission ever pull in different directions, the commission loses.
